Antares Vision Unveils 100% In-Line Laser Leak Detection at ProPak Asia
CXT•Antares Vision Group will showcase its laser spectroscopy-based leak detection system at ProPak Asia 2026 in Bangkok from June 10-13, marking its first launch in Thailand. The solution enables continuous 100% in-line inspection at any line speed, detecting micro-leaks in beverage, food, aerosol, and MAP packaging without production changes.
1. Debut at ProPak Asia 2026
Antares Vision Group will present its laser spectroscopy-based In-Line Micro Leakage Inspection system at the ProPak Asia trade show in Bangkok from June 10 to 13, marking the first deployment of this technology in the Thai market at Stand C2-AH28.
2. Technology Features
The system uses a tuned laser beam to measure headspace pressure variations and instantly detect micro-leaks at the cap or neck of sealed containers. It supports 100% in-line, non-destructive inspection at any line speed without sampling, process changes or production slowdowns, preserving full output and reducing waste.
3. Industry Applications
The solution targets water, soft drinks, beer, wine, returnable PET and aerosol packaging, offering real-time nitrogen dosing adjustment, oxygen monitoring, cap integrity verification beyond acoustic limits and energy-efficient replacement of water bath tests. A separate MAP packaging solution enables 100% in-line leak detection in pouches and trays without tracer gases.
4. Corporate Ownership
Since April 2026, Antares Vision Group has been controlled by NYSE-listed Crane NXT, a global leader in authentication and traceability technologies. This acquisition aligns with Crane NXT’s strategy to expand its quality control and supply chain transparency offerings worldwide.
