Aon appoints Joe Liang for Greater China reinsurance

Aon appointed Joe Liang executive chairman of Greater China for Reinsurance, effective immediately.

Based in Hong Kong, Liang reports to Rupert Moore, CEO of Asia Pacific for Reinsurance.

Liang brings more than 34 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, actuarial and technology roles across China and the U.S.

He previously held executive roles at SAIC Insurance and Ping An P&C and also led underwriting, risk management and actuarial functions.
