1. Aon Expands Data Center Lifecycle Insurance Program to $2.5 Billion

Aon has increased capacity in its proprietary Data Center Lifecycle Insurance Program by $1 billion, bringing total coverage to $2.5 billion. Launched in 2025, the multi-line solution integrates construction all risks, delay in start-up, cyber property damage and tech E&O into a single facility. The expanded program now provides up to $400 million in cyber coverage (including business interruption and SLA violations), $100 million in third-party liability (ex-U.S.) and $500 million in project cargo insurance, supported by Aon’s Global Risk Consulting analytics and impact modeling. By offering streamlined capacity at scale, Aon positions itself to capture accelerating investment in AI-driven cloud and digital infrastructure and to meet the growing demand from developers, operators and institutional investors seeking comprehensive risk transfer and engineering solutions.

2. GLP-1 Research Highlights Employer Cost Savings and Female Health Impact

Aon’s updated analysis of U.S. commercial health claims data on 192,000 GLP-1 therapy users reveals significant financial and clinical benefits. Employers with diabetic populations saw medical cost growth 6 percentage points lower than non-users at 30 months, rising to 9 points for those with at least 80 percent adherence. Weight-loss patients achieved 3 points lower cost growth at 18 months, and 7 points with high adherence. For women, GLP-1 use correlated with a 47 percent reduction in major cardiovascular hospitalizations, a 50 percent lower incidence of ovarian cancer and a 14 percent reduction in breast cancer. These findings underscore Aon’s strategic opportunity to expand its Health Solutions advisory services, helping corporate clients manage rising healthcare costs—projected to increase 9.5 percent in 2026—through targeted benefits design and adherence programs.
