US apartment rents edge lower in August
CoStar’s Apartments.com report showed U.S. apartment rents slipped 0.03% in August to $1,751, ending eight straight monthly gains.
Annual rent growth accelerated to 1.3% from a revised 1.1% in July, despite elevated new supply limiting pricing power.
