Apollo picks Austin for new strategic growth hub

Apollo Global Management selected Austin, Texas for a new strategic growth hub focused on innovation, emerging technology, and long-term expansion.

The hub will incubate new businesses across asset management and retirement solutions, tied to product development, distribution, infrastructure, and market-making.

The office will be led by Eric Needleman and Mike Downing; New York will remain Apollo’s global headquarters.

Apollo said the Austin site aims to reshape technology and operations, leveraging proximity to companies driving the industry’s next growth phase.
