Apollo raised more than $12 billion for latest flagship private equity fund through July, president says

NEW YORK, Aug. 4 (Reuters) - Apollo Global Management APO.N has raised more than $12 billion for its latest flagship private equity fund through July, company president Jim Zelter said on Tuesday.
"We are pleased with the reception in the market thus far," Zelter told analysts on a conference call. "We expect our institutional business to deliver a record fundraising year," he added.
