Shares of apparel and accessories retailer Citi Trends (CTRN.O) were down about 5% at $70.72 in early trading.
The company swung to a second-quarter net loss of $0.9 million, compared with a $3.8 million profit last year, hurt by cost pressure from fuel charge hikes.
However, quarterly net sales rose about 11% year over year to $211.6 million.
The company slightly raised its fiscal 2026 comparable sales growth outlook to between 9% and 11%, from a previously expected rise of 8% to 10%.
Up to the last close, the stock was up about 79% year to date.
