1. Apple Procures 108MW Clean Power in Victoria
European Energy opened the Lancaster Solar Farm in Victoria with 108MW capacity, featuring approximately 170,000 solar panels. Under a long-term PPA, this facility will supply clean electricity directly to Apple’s operations, contributing to its carbon neutrality targets. This project adds scale to a 10GW development pipeline across solar, wind and storage in Australia, reinforcing Apple’s renewable energy sourcing strategy.
2. Apple Debuts AirPods Max 2 Headphones
Apple introduced the AirPods Max 2, its second-generation over-ear headphones powered by the H2 chip. The new model delivers improved active noise cancellation, spatial audio support and longer battery life within a lighter, refined design.
