Analysts expect Apple’s July-September revenue to rise nearly 11% to $113.39 billion and net profit to increase about 6% to $29.04 billion, with higher memory-chip costs weighing on profit growth. Investors will also look for the holiday-quarter outlook and updates on the new iPhone Duo.
John Ternus will host his first earnings call as Apple’s CEO on Monday. Analysts expect revenue for the fiscal fourth quarter, covering July through September, to rise nearly 11% to $113.39 billion and net profit to increase about 6% to $29.04 billion. Apple’s services revenue is expected to grow almost 10% to $31.56 billion, its slowest pace in more than three years.
Rising memory-chip costs are expected to drag quarterly profit growth to its weakest in six quarters. Investors will look for Ternus’ comments on AI and the revamped Siri, as well as whether Apple could earn revenue by distributing third-party AI agents through its App Store.
Analysts project iPhone sales will climb about 15% to $56.54 billion. The quarter includes just nine days of sales of the iPhone 18 Pro models; the foldable iPhone Duo, which starts at $1,999 in the US, launched October 23 and will contribute to the holiday quarter. Some buyers have reported cracks and lines along the display’s central fold, and Apple has offered replacements. Bank of America estimates average delivery waits of 79 days, with shipments extending into January.
