Q2 revenue rises while net loss widens
Applied Aerospace & Defense posted second-quarter revenue of $167.3 million, up 47.4% year over year, while GAAP net loss widened to $154 million.
The loss was mainly due to share-based compensation and IPO transaction expenses. GAAP operating loss was $96.2 million.
Non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA rose 38.5% to $36.4 million.
Backlog and balance sheet improve after IPO
Contract backlog climbed to $1.13 billion. The company's June IPO raised $635.6 million in net primary proceeds, cutting pro forma net leverage to 2.7x.
