Applied Energetics posted a net loss of $4.28 million in the quarter ended June 30, 2026, widening 13.02% year over year.

Revenue fell 11.85% to $62,000, with two active contracts remaining unfunded and work suspended until funding is secured.

General and administrative expenses rose 21.05% to $3.42 million, driven by higher headcount costs, stock-based compensation and recruiting.

Research and development spending more than doubled to $699,234 on higher labor, materials and specialized components for prototypes and USP programs.

Field tests continued; one outing disabled a drone sensor at a range meeting prospective customer specifications, with integration work ongoing on Kord Firefly.
