Palkhiwala joins Applied Materials board

Applied Materials appointed Qualcomm CFO and COO Akash Palkhiwala to its board of directors.

Palkhiwala also joins the board’s Audit Committee.

He has been Qualcomm’s CFO since 2019, became COO in 2024, and previously held finance leadership roles since joining in 2001.

Earlier in his career, he worked as a private equity analyst at KeyBank.
