Aptevo reports reduced infusion reactions with refined mipletamig dosing in AML trial
APVO•Aptevo reported substantially fewer infusion-related reactions after refining mipletamig dosing in its ongoing RAINIER study; study completion is expected by year-end 2026.
1. Dosing refinement
Aptevo reported substantially fewer infusion-related reactions with mipletamig following initial dosing refinements in the ongoing RAINIER study, which combines the drug with venetoclax and azacitidine for newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia patients unfit for intensive chemotherapy. The tolerability improvements do not establish better efficacy or longer treatment persistence.
2. Study timeline
Study completion is expected by year-end 2026, with regulatory discussions and Phase 2 initiation planned for 2027. Mipletamig data are scheduled for presentation at the American Society of Hematology annual meeting in New Orleans, December 12-15, 2026.
