Aptiv partners with TARS, Shanghai Electric to deploy robots in manufacturing

Aptiv said it signed separate strategic collaboration agreements with TARS and Shanghai Electric on Nov. 6, 2026. Hundreds of robots from both partners are gradually being deployed on Aptiv production lines, moving from validation toward scaled deployment.
2. Systems integration
Aptiv’s computing platforms and intelligent power distribution systems will be integrated into both partners’ robots, with initial production planned by year-end.
