ArcelorMittal publishes transcript of Q2 2026 results call

ArcelorMittal hosted its Q2 2026 results call, attended by CFO Genuino Christino and Head of Investor Relations Daniel Fairclough.

• Q2 EBITDA rose to USD 2.1 billion, or USD 155 per tonne; Europe reached USD 98 per tonne, a three-year high.
• Europe: full blast furnace suite to run from Q3; Q3 shipments guided stable to higher vs Q2 despite normal seasonality.
• Management flagged TRQ effects not yet in results; order books strengthened, Q4 bookings underway, imports expected to fall.
• US: Calvert EAF expected to reach full capacity in H2; detailed engineering underway for a second EAF, with policy economics uncertain.
