ArcelorMittal swung to a third-quarter 2026 net loss attributable to shareholders of USD 391 million from a year-earlier profit. Sales increased 5% year-over-year to USD 16.47 billion. Idling its Ukraine operations triggered USD 852 million in impairment charges and USD 293 million in exceptional charges. All European blast furnaces returned to operation following implementation of the EU’s new tariff-rate quota framework.
