Archer Aviation, BETA Technologies, Macquarie form ACES consortium to deploy interoperable eVTOL charging at 250+ US sites by 2030
ACHR•ACES consortium to build shared eVTOL charging network
Archer Aviation formed ACES with BETA Technologies and Macquarie Capital to build interoperable charging across more than 250 U.S. air taxi sites by 2030.
- The consortium targets standardized CCS-based charging to support scaled eVTOL operations near major metro airports and vertiports.
- BETA will supply charging hardware.
- Macquarie Capital will advise on strategy and help arrange investment capital for site acquisition and buildout.
- The network is designed as shared infrastructure for multiple operators, with Archer planning to use it for passenger VTOL air taxi service.
