Archer Aviation to acquire Boeing units Wisk Aero, Insitu and SkyGrid

ACHR•Archer agreed to acquire Boeing subsidiaries Wisk Aero, Insitu, and SkyGrid, combining eVTOL, autonomy, and airspace-intelligence capabilities.
The acquired defense business is described as profitable, generating more than $200 million in annual revenue, with operations across 35 countries.
Boeing will take a stake in Archer, becoming a strategic partner under an ongoing collaboration and technology-sharing arrangement. Boeing will retain access to Wisk’s core autonomous flight technology for current and next-generation commercial and defense aircraft.
