Aris Mining starts construction of Puruni River bridge for Guyana Toroparu project access
ARIS•Puruni River bridge construction begins
Aris Mining began building a 109-meter modular steel bridge across Guyana’s Puruni River to secure access to the Toroparu gold project.
The project supports logistics for moving heavy equipment by barge to Itaballi, then by road to Toroparu via Puruni Landing.
Completion is targeted for December 2026, alongside ongoing pre-feasibility work due in Q4 2026.
The infrastructure move comes ahead of an expected construction decision for Toroparu in early 2027.
