Arm’s AGI CPU Promises 2x Rack Performance as Nvidia Expands Grace Servers

Arm launched its first production data center processor, the AGI CPU, built on its Neoverse cores and co-developed with Meta. The company claims the chip delivers twice the performance per rack of x86-based platforms and secured launch partnerships with OpenAI, Cloudflare, F5 and SAP, positioning CPUs as critical for agentic AI workloads.

2. Nvidia Expands CPU Footprint

Nvidia strengthened its CPU presence by expanding deployments of its Grace CPU-only servers with Meta and unveiling details of the upcoming Vera CPU at its GTC event.
