Arqit Pre-Installs Quantum-Safe Encryption on Intel TDX NetSec Cards for 4th Gen Xeon

ARQQARQQ

Arqit’s quantum-safe encryption software is now pre-installed within Intel’s Trust Domain Extensions on NetSec Accelerator Reference Design cards, enabling on-demand, line-speed confidential compute with hardware-enforced isolation on 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors. The integration targets telecom operators and critical infrastructure with data sovereignty, post-quantum IPSec VPNs, and Network-as-a-Service offerings.

1. Hardware Integration

Arqit’s encryption software is integrated into Intel Trust Domain Extensions on NetSec Accelerator Reference Design cards, leveraging hardware-enforced isolation in 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors to create a secure trusted execution environment for virtual machines and containers.

2. Quantum-Safe Confidential Compute

The solution generates quantum-safe encryption keys on demand within the trusted execution environment, preventing key storage or exchange, and delivers line-speed, hardware-accelerated encryption to protect workloads in shared or hostile environments.

3. Telecom and Infrastructure Use Cases

This development enables telecom operators and critical infrastructure providers to offer data sovereignty regardless of cloud geography, secure Network-as-a-Service, high-speed quantum-safe IPSec VPNs with no added latency, and quantum-safe data in transit and in process.

4. Market Impact and Demonstration

By embedding its software in Intel hardware, Arqit opens new high-growth security services, positions itself for revenue expansion, and will showcase the scalable confidential compute solution at MWC Barcelona 2026 in Intel’s Hall 3 booth.
