1. Financial Performance
In the first half of fiscal year 2026, Arqit recorded $623,000 in revenue, a substantial increase from $67,000 in the same period last year and $463,000 in the preceding half. This growth was driven by eleven contracts, including deals with three telecom operators and eight government, defense and enterprise organizations.
2. Cost and Cash Position
Arqit maintained disciplined spending with operating costs averaging $2.6 million per month, excluding external legal expenses. Cash and cash equivalents rose from $28.9 million at March 31 to $35.9 million as of May 20, strengthening the company’s financial runway.
3. Product Launches and Collaborations
In January, Arqit commercially launched Encryption Intelligence, an automated cryptographic inventory solution. It subsequently collaborated with Intel to embed its software in Intel TDX environments and teamed up with 6WIND and RAD to deliver scalable, quantum-safe VPN and edge encryption solutions for telecom and critical infrastructure.
4. Strategic Partnerships and Outlook
Arqit was selected as a scaleup partner in Vodafone’s Tomorrow Street portfolio, renewed and upsized an aerospace and defense partner contract by 90%, and executed its first Encryption Intelligence contracts and channel partnerships. These developments position Arqit to expand its post-quantum cryptography migration services across key markets.
