Phase 3 topline results for plozasiran

Arrowhead released topline Phase 3 SHASTA-3 and SHASTA-4 results for plozasiran in severe hypertriglyceridemia, meeting the primary triglyceride endpoint.

Median triglycerides fell 79% and 81% at month 12 versus about 27% with placebo.
Pooled analysis showed a statistically significant drop in acute pancreatitis events; the high-risk subgroup showed a 100% reduction versus placebo.
Arrowhead plans a U.S. sNDA for the severe hypertriglyceridemia indication before end-2026.
