Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals posts ESC 2026 investor presentation on SHASTA-3 and SHASTA-4 results

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals released an investor webinar slide deck covering 12-month results from the phase 3 SHASTA-3 and SHASTA-4 trials of plozasiran.

• The presentation highlighted about 80% triglyceride reductions across severe hypertriglyceridemia, with more than 90% of patients below acute pancreatitis risk thresholds.
• Cumulative acute pancreatitis events fell 78%, including a 100% reduction in the highest-risk subgroup with triglycerides above 880 mg/dL.
• The safety profile was described as favorable, with overall treatment-emergent adverse events similar between plozasiran and placebo.
