Oracle and Arvato Systems move medicines verification platform to EU Sovereign Cloud

Oracle entered a collaboration with Arvato Systems to run the European Medicines Verification System on Oracle EU Sovereign Cloud.

Arvato migrated its National Medicines Verification System from on-premises to support prescription verification across 15 European countries.

The move targets higher performance, availability, scalability, and EU data residency compliance for a service handling hundreds of millions of checks annually.

Critical Oracle databases shifted to Oracle Exadata Database Service in EU Sovereign Cloud, deployed across Madrid and Frankfurt for resilience.
