Ascendis enters global settlement, license deal with BioMarin for YUVIWEL royalties

Ascendis Pharma entered a binding term sheet with BioMarin for a global settlement and license covering YUVIWEL (navepegritide) products.
BioMarin will grant a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-bearing license, preserving Ascendis’ rights to develop, manufacture and commercialize navepegritide.
Royalty payments and litigation dismissal
Ascendis will pay royalties on net sales of 20% in the U.S. and 18% in the EU, South Korea and Brazil through May 20, 2030.
Both sides agreed to dismiss litigation; BioMarin will provide a covenant not to sue and waive certain regulatory rights and exclusivities.
