Ascentage Pharma names new business and commercial leaders
Ascentage Pharma named Faiçal Miyara chief business officer to lead global business development; he was CBO at IO Biotech.
Miyara previously ran global oncology partnering at Ipsen; held senior R&D roles at Pfizer; worked at ImClone Systems, Eli Lilly.
Jim Ziegler joined as chief commercial officer to run commercialization outside China, including the US; he led global commercial teams at Iovance, Geron.
Ziegler previously held commercial leadership roles at Amgen, Gilead Sciences; he is a former U.S. Army armor officer.
Both executives will report to chairman and CEO Dajun Yang.
