Associated Banc-Corp to Deploy 2,600 Volunteers in Six States, Award $13,400 Grants
ASB•Associated Banc-Corp will mobilize 2,600 employees across six states June 23–25 for its fourth annual Day of Service, including first-time participation from Iowa and Nebraska after merging with American National. The bank is awarding $13,400 in community grants and running a June 3–19 food drive to support local food-security nonprofits.
1. Fourth Annual Day of Service
Associated Banc-Corp will engage nearly 2,600 employees for its fourth annual Day of Service from June 23 to 25, operating across six states including Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska.
2. Volunteer Programs and Grants
Participants will support more than 200 nonprofit organizations through activities such as food repacking, youth program assistance, community gardening and cleanup, while the bank awards $13,400 in grants to 11 nonprofits and hosts a June 3–19 Stock the Box food drive.
3. Merger-Driven Expansion
For the first time, employees from former American National Bank branches in Iowa and Nebraska will join the initiative, highlighting the integration of the recent merger and expanding the bank’s regional community footprint.
4. Broader Community Commitment Plan
The Day of Service forms part of a $2 billion Community Commitment Plan and builds on more than 20,500 volunteer hours and a service value exceeding $687,000 logged through 2025, reinforcing the bank’s community focus.
