AstraZeneca, Daiichi Sankyo partner with Summit to test cancer drug combination
SMMT•AstraZeneca and Daiichi Sankyo will collaborate with Summit Therapeutics to test Datroway with ivonescimab across multiple tumour types, starting with a Phase III trial in first-line triple-negative breast cancer.
1. Trial collaboration
The companies will contribute their respective medicines and share trial costs while retaining development and commercial rights to their own drugs. The agreement builds on AstraZeneca’s $2 billion investment in Summit to collaborate on studies testing their cancer treatments together.
