AstraZeneca files for US FDA approval of HUTCHMED lung cancer drug combination
AZN•AstraZeneca applied to the US FDA for approval of its ORPATHYS-TAGRISSO combination to treat advanced lung cancer.
1. FDA application
HUTCHMED said AstraZeneca applied for approval of the combination for patients whose cancer progressed after prior EGFR-targeted treatment. The company said the treatment extended progression-free survival and improved overall survival compared with chemotherapy; ORPATHYS has already been approved in China based on data from a separate Phase III study.
