AstraZeneca licenses Dizal’s lung cancer drug Zegfrovy in deal worth up to USD 1.5 billion

Zegfrovy is approved in the US and China for second-line EGFR exon 20 insertion NSCLC, and a US launch is planned for Q4 2026.
The FDA accepted a supplemental filing for first-line use, supported by Phase III WU-KONG28 results, and Breakthrough Therapy Designation was granted in the US and China.
The transaction leaves 2026 financial guidance unchanged.

AstraZeneca completed an exclusive global license deal with Dizal for lung cancer drug Zegfrovy, securing worldwide development and commercialization rights.
Deal terms include USD 600 million upfront, up to USD 900 million in development, regulatory, and sales milestones, plus tiered royalties on global sales.
