Astronics won a favorable UK appellate ruling in its long-running patent infringement dispute with Lufthansa Technik.
The court dismissed Lufthansa Technik’s appeal of the February 2025 damages judgment.
One Astronics appeal succeeded, requiring a partial refund of previously paid damages; the amount has not been determined.
The ruling also opens the door to additional attorney-fee awards tied to certain parts of the case.
Either side can seek a further appeal to the UK Supreme Court, subject to the court accepting the case.
