Q2 loss and expenses improve year over year
Atea Pharmaceuticals posted a Q2 net loss of $32.93 million, narrowing 11.38% year over year; loss per share improved to $0.41.
Operating loss narrowed 15.11% to $35.1 million, with research and development expense down 12.78% to $28.15 million.
General and administrative expense fell 23.38% to $6.95 million; interest income dropped 50.12% to $2.19 million on lower investment balances.
