
ATI has fully commissioned a greenfield machining and inspection facility in Chihuahua, Mexico, integrating advanced machining, nondestructive testing and finishing to strengthen its forging flow path. The investment is included in existing capital expenditure guidance and aims to boost throughput and supply-chain resilience for next-generation aerospace engine programs.
The new greenfield facility in Chihuahua, Mexico is fully operational and combines advanced machining, nondestructive testing and finishing processes under one roof, strengthening ATI’s forging flow path and streamlining component movement from forging through final inspection.
This expanded capacity is designed to meet growing demand for next-generation aerospace engine components, helping customers address persistent supply-chain constraints by increasing throughput and accelerating qualification of critical parts.
The investment is included in ATI’s existing capital expenditure guidance and supports the company’s long-term strategy to expand differentiated capabilities in high-growth aerospace and defense markets, leveraging a skilled regional workforce.
