Atlas Energy, Kodiak AI expand driverless truck partnership to 100 vehicles by mid-2027

The companies expect public-road operations in early 2027, pending regulatory and operational milestones.

So far, the program has handled about 7,000 loads and moved more than 450,000 tons, with a record 176 loads delivered in one day on July 20.

Atlas Energy Solutions expanded its autonomous oilfield logistics program with Kodiak AI to add a second load-out point on the Dune Express system.

The companies set a target to grow Atlas’s Kodiak-enabled driverless fleet to 100 trucks by mid-2027 from 28 as of March 31, 2026.
