Atlas Energy Solutions signs cost reimbursement deals with frontier AI lab for data center power equipment
AESI•Atlas Energy Solutions signed two cost reimbursement agreements with a frontier AI lab for equipment tied to specific data center projects. A separate purchase agreement covers 328 megawatts of generating capacity for 2027 delivery, while another agreement covers 283 megawatts of Caterpillar equipment.
1. Equipment agreements
Atlas said the two cost reimbursement agreements support balance-of-plant equipment for existing Caterpillar generator orders under its Global Framework Agreement. One covers incremental commitments for 283 megawatts of Caterpillar power generation equipment for an initial ramp at another data center; a separate purchase agreement covers 328 megawatts of generating capacity under the framework for 2027 deliveries.
