Atlas Energy Solutions unit signs $340.5 million equipment deal with Wyoming Machinery Co
AESI•Atlas Energy Solutions unit Shackelford 1 signed a $340.5 million balance-of-plant equipment agreement with Wyoming Machinery Co. It also agreed to buy about 328 MW of generation equipment for about $273 million.
1. Equipment agreements
Shackelford 1 signed a purchase agreement with Wyoming Machinery for balance-of-plant equipment priced at about $340.5 million. The equipment is scheduled to be available for shipment from June through December 2027, with payments from September 2026 through May 2027.
2. Generation equipment
A separate agreement covers about 328 MW of generation equipment priced at about $273 million. The equipment is scheduled to be ready to ship from April 2027 through February 2028, with payments from September 2026 through January 2028. The deal is expected to satisfy part of ProjectCo’s purchase obligation under its previously announced Global Framework Agreement with Caterpillar.
