Atlas Lithium advanced pre-assembly work for a modular dense media separation lithium processing plant at its Neves Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The plant is paid for, already in Brazil, and permitted for installation and operation.
2. Output and process design
Initial output is expected to be 146,000 tonnes of lithium concentrate per year, with the modular design allowing future capacity increases. The process design targets about 95% water recycling and uses dry-stacked tailings to avoid a tailings dam. Alfa Engenharia was engaged early to plan assembly sequencing with Atlas engineers and the South African designer.
