AT&T closed its previously announced acquisition of certain wireless spectrum licenses from EchoStar for about USD 23 billion.
- The deal adds about 50 MHz nationwide, including 30 MHz of 3.45 GHz mid-band spectrum and 20 MHz of 600 MHz low-band spectrum.
- AT&T said the transaction expands 5G capacity and supports faster download speeds across virtually all U.S. markets.
- The company reiterated its financial outlook and capital allocation plan from its second-quarter 2026 earnings release.
