Attovia Therapeutics jumps in Nasdaq debut after upsized $289 million IPO

San Carlos, California-based Attovia late on Tuesday sold 17 million shares in an upsized IPO at $17 apiece.
The company, which is developing treatments for immune-mediated diseases, had initially marketed about 12.5 million shares priced between $15 and $17 apiece.
Its lead programs include ATTO-1310, which is being developed to treat chronic pruritic diseases.
Nasdaq debut and trading performance
Drug developer Attovia Therapeutics' shares jumped as much as 33.8% in their Nasdaq debut after the company completed an upsized $289 million U.S. IPO.
The stock opened at $21 apiece versus the $17 IPO price; last it was up 28.5% at $21.85.
