SPY•U.S. consumer credit increased by $8.281 billion in August, below economists’ $15 billion forecast; revolving credit fell by $4.787 billion.

The Federal Reserve reported that U.S. consumer credit rose by $8.281 billion in August, compared with a $17.740 billion increase in July. Revolving credit fell by $4.787 billion, while non-revolving credit rose by $13.067 billion.
