August durable goods orders data
SPY•U.S. durable goods orders were unchanged in August, compared with economists’ forecast of a 0.4% decline; orders excluding transportation rose 0.3%.
1. August orders
U.S. durable goods orders totaled $338.604 billion in August, unchanged from July. Orders excluding transportation rose 0.3%, while nondefense capital goods orders excluding aircraft increased 1.6%.
