Aureus Greenway Extends $20M Bridge Loan to Fund Powerus Programs
Aureus Greenway is advancing a $20 million bridge loan to Powerus to fund near-term working capital ahead of their planned business combination, subject to customary conditions and approvals. Proceeds will support manufacturing readiness and inventory for Powerus’s Guardian-1 counter-drone interceptors, FireShield firefighting systems, and SPY thermal-capable platform.
1. Bridge Loan Agreement
Aureus Greenway entered into a $20 million bridge loan with Powerus, providing interim financing to support working capital needs ahead of their definitive business combination. The arrangement is subject to customary conditions and approvals and aims to maintain operational momentum until transaction close.
2. Allocation of Proceeds
Loan proceeds are earmarked for manufacturing readiness and inventory levels across Powerus’s key autonomous systems, including Guardian-1 counter-drone interceptors, FireShield autonomous firefighting systems, and SPY thermal-capable platforms built on non-PRC supply chains.
3. Proposed Business Combination
The bridge loan supports execution under their previously announced definitive combination agreement, which upon completion will create a publicly traded autonomous systems platform focused on defense, critical infrastructure, and precision agriculture markets. Completion remains subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.
