1. Network expansion plans
Aurora Innovation plans to expand its driverless freight network to 12 routes targeting high-volume customer corridors. Direct driverless service to several customer sites starts in November, and most customers are expected to receive site-to-site operations over the coming months. Route validation now takes six weeks, down from six months for the second route, with a six-day target ahead; successive hardware generations target cost reductions of at least 50%.
