Autoliv to Exit Türkiye Manufacturing and Re-Elect Nine Directors at AGM

Autoliv will gradually discontinue manufacturing operations in Türkiye to align production capacity with projected EMEA market needs. At the May 7, 2026 AGM shareholders re-elected nine directors, approved 2025 executive pay and ratified Ernst & Young AB as auditor.

1. Türkiye Manufacturing Discontinuation

Autoliv announced it will gradually wind down all manufacturing operations in Türkiye as part of its strategy to align production capacity with projected demand across the EMEA region. The closure affects its Turkish facilities and is intended to optimize cost structure while reallocating resources to higher-growth markets.

2. Annual Stockholders Meeting Outcomes

At the May 7, 2026 AGM, shareholders re-elected nine directors to one-year terms, passed a non-binding advisory vote on 2025 executive compensation, and ratified Ernst & Young AB as the independent auditor for fiscal 2026. The board confirmed Jan Carlson as chairman and established committee memberships for audit, compensation and corporate governance oversight.
