Program targets diabetes cell therapy
The program targets Type 1 diabetes and insulin-dependent Type 2 diabetes using stem cell-derived beta cells combined with Austrianova’s Cell-in-a-Box encapsulation.
Insulinova to fund research and support commercialization
Insulinova will fund the research and supply encapsulation equipment, materials and technical support toward potential commercialization of beta cell replacement therapy.
