Avalo Therapeutics presents positive Phase 2 abdakibart data in hidradenitis suppurativa

Avalo said abdakibart was well tolerated, with no adverse events related to neutropenia, serious infections or opportunistic infections, and plans to initiate Phase 3 testing in the first half of 2027. The company said its $431.3 million financing supports an expected cash runway into 2029, including anticipated Phase 3 topline data; its next-generation anti-IL-1β antibody AVTX-010 is expected to advance to an investigational new drug application in the first half of 2027.
