Aventis Energy plans October surface exploration program at Corvo uranium project
URA•Aventis Energy plans an October 2026 surface exploration program at its Corvo uranium project in Saskatchewan to refine drill targets ahead of a planned 2027 drilling phase.
1. Exploration plans
The program will target outcrops near the Manhattan, Brooklyn and Tribeca areas. The Manhattan surface showing reported grades of 1.19% to 8.10% U3O8, while another showing reported 0.137% U3O8 and 2,300 ppm thorium.
2. Drilling and funding
Winter 2026 drilling returned anomalous uranium in all nine holes, including 55 meters above 10 ppm uranium. The October program is funded under a three-year earn-in option, with Standard Uranium as operator; samples will go to Saskatchewan Research Council labs.
