Aviat Networks signs license-to-manufacture deal with Dixon for WTM 4000 radios in India
AVNW•Aviat Networks signed a license-to-manufacture agreement with Dixon Electro Appliances for designated WTM 4000 microwave products in India. Aviat estimates India’s microwave buildout at about 250,000 links over the next four years.
1. Manufacturing agreement
Dixon will manufacture and sell approved products to select Indian telecom operators. Aviat will retain the intellectual property and provide software and services; the deal aims to expand reach with a local supply chain and improve capital efficiency versus traditional contract manufacturing.
