Avis Budget Group sought court approval of a settlement with Pentwater Capital in its Section 16(b) short-swing profits lawsuit.
The deal would require Pentwater to pay USD 650 million in cash to resolve the case.
The suit was filed June 16, 2026, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
The settlement remains subject to court findings that the amount is fair, reasonable, and adequate.
